I am Jo Forde, a trained Mindfulness Teacher in Mindfulness and Compassion, based in Somerset.
I suffered with M.E/Chronic Fatigue for 14 years and recovered through mindfulness techniques. I am now passionate about helping others who are struggling with their health and feel that there is no way out. You are not broken! Your body just needs to learn new patterns so that it can return to balance.
I offer 1:1 Mindfulness Sessions, which will teach you:
Mindfulness teaches you to switch off from automatic pilot and spend more time in the present moment. To come out of the busy, thinking mind and into the body. To create awareness of your patterns and behaviours, enabling different choices. It calms the stress response, releases dopamine and stimulates the release of endorphins, helping you to feel better. It leads to greater self-awareness, increased empathy and compassion for yourself and others.
